| Welcoming Committee Description |
The first Sunday of most months is designated
"Welcome Sunday/Registration Weekend".
Members of the Welcoming Committee are on hand in the
Rectory (after Saturday Vigil and Sunday Noon Masses) or
School Cafeteria (from 8:30-noon on Sundays) to assist
anyone who is interested in becoming a registered member of
St. Barnabas Parish Family. Anyone 18 years old and over
should register on his/her own.
Anyone can also register at the Rectory during normal
Rectory office hours.
The first Sunday of each month from September through June
is Donut Sunday.
Anyone interested in registering to become a parishioner
can come to the School Cafeteria between 8:30 and noon and
also enjoy a hot cup of coffee along with fresh, homemade
donuts. If you would like to be a part of this Donut
Sunday ministry, contact Lou LaGuardia at 330-467-8494.
Donut Sunday ministry members register new parishioners on the
first Sunday (September through June) of each month, providing a packet of
information regarding the different programs, ministries
and organizations which are a part of St. Barnabas Parish.
Members also provide visitor welcome cards at local hotels
and personal phone greetings or welcome cards to all new
people in the area.
