Our program is based on the New Catechism of the Catholic Church. The Catechism’s emphasis on creed, sacraments, and moral life of the Christian as well as prayer, rooted in and supported by the Scriptures, is the emphasis and structure of this program.
PSR meets weekly on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 - 7:45 pm, in the Parish School.

St. Barnabas Parish School of Religion is PSR offers two options for children in grades 1 through 5:
There are two different ways to register:
1. PSR weekly in-classroom sessions
2. Family Catechesis homestudy and monthly group sessions
Weekly PSR provides opportunities for children to grow in faith and knowledge of our Catholic traditions in a classroom setting. Classes meet weekly on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 – 7:45 p.m. in the Parish School.
The Family Catechesis program is available for families who wish to provide catechesis in the home. Using the guide and texts provided, parents and children spend quality time together learning about and discussing our Catholic faith. Additionally, all families gather in the parish cafeteria once a month, on Sunday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m. to learn and share faith as a community.
Fees: $80.00 one child, $135.00 two children, $150.00 three or more children (plus 3% processing fee). No family will be excluded from the Parish School of Religion programs due to the inability to pay a fee.
